Celebration Presentation

Celebrating players and volunteers for the 2022/23 season!

On Saturday 15th July, Widbrook United celebrated our players with a presentation day at Bear Hotel, Havant.

All the Widbrook coaches, managers, parents and players want to thank Amy, our CWO for Youth Teams, and Gary, our all-around Jack of all trades, for setting up the fantastic celebration of 2022/23!

Amy said: “It was such an amazing day where we got to see most of our teams and age groups receive their participation trophies and also get recognised for special parts players have played in the season. What an absolute pleasure it was to watch every age group from the U9 Wolves, our new generation, right through to the final presentation for our U16 Whirlwinds.
“What an honour it was - it was such a moving finale to the youth presentation.”

All of Widbrook would like to wish Danny a happy retirement after 10 years of coaching - you will be missed, Danny.

We also said goodbye to Josh, our U13 Girls manager, who has also decided to hang up his tactic board and enjoy being a parent to watch his children progress from the sideline. We will still see Josh around - just in a different way.
Amy continues: “Thank you to every single coach as without you all we wouldn’t have a club for these phenomenal players. You should all be proud - all the kids were so well-behaved. Gary and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone at Widbrook!”
