Our U12 Girls' parent-manager and another parent of a player spent over four hours giving the 9v9 pitch a trim when Havant Borough Council didn't cut it before a semi-final was due to be played.

Play Safe is being run in partnership with the NSPCC and has the full backing of the Premier League, EFL, Barclays FA Women’s Super League and the FA Women’s Championship. It’s also supported and being run across every other level of the game.

Ngimbi was playing Sunday League youth football for Widbrook United when he joined up with the academy after being alerted of the programme by his manager.

In January 2020, one of our players in the U12 girls team, and her mum Kerri Noon, asked if we had any unused kits at the club, that we could donate to a newly formed foundation that was close to their hearts.

Barton’s Green changing pavilion in Havant has been transformed after work to fully refurbish the facility was unveiled recently (Sunday 13 January). The new facility, which will be enjoyed by Widbrook United FC, was made possible thanks to investment from the Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund, delivered by the Football Foundation.
